This skein, 'Diego's Golden Evergreen' is a reminder that Black political presence, intellect, & diplomacy have long been woven into global history, even when later narratives tried to blur them out. 🧶

Here’s the Lichen and Lace yarn. I’ve since ordered over a dozen mini skeins from this Canadian dyer to start putting together the colors for next year’s Temperature Shawl. Top to bottom: Love My Local Yarn Shop is grey, light pink, dark pink, yellow, turquoise, and what results where they blend. Wonderland is a new release that is greens with accents of turquoise and pink. Mexican Wedding Dress is turquoise, purple, and pink with accents of yellow. It was SO hard to narrow it down to just these three!! I’ll definitely be purchasing from this shop again!
