Tho Aara being a humane god is a solid fact he still has a lot to learn.
It only felt strange when he specifically said he used to call his daughter “my unicorn” and is still filled with rage over her death while doesn’t get triggered by any unicorn elements.

I know this doesn’t exactly make sense but imagine a situation where Leola felt lonely about their existence in Xadia and begged Aara to introduce other SEs to her but Aara went from the loving father image to a complete stranger and ranted at her and called her “his”

I always assume if Leola became a Council member she wouldn’t do any right than the others and her relationship with Aara might become a reverse Filomena&Selemene situation, where Leola admits his position in the heavens and refer him as the Arch Mage but go vague on the family part
