A playful scatterplot (using dog silhouettes instead of dots) depicts the best dog, according to data. On the vertical axis is a measure of public popularity. On the horizontal is an indexed score of several metrics to consider when owning a dog (cost, temperament, no. of genetic ailments etc). Each dog is coloured by category (sport, toy, hound etc) and sized (S, M, L). If a dog is facing left, it's kind of a dumb dog. If it's facing right, it's an intelligent dog.

How AI Is Improving Recruitment and Employees’ Well-Being Published by Web Desk Friday, March 27, 2026 Everywhere you look today, AI is in the headlines, reimagining how our everyday lives function and changing the job landscape. AI in job recruitment and the software being used for it are evolving at a fast pace, helping businesses find top talent without all the hassle. On average, AI is saving workers 1 hr every day, and in a year’s time, that amounts to 260 hours being given back to employees. With these hours back in employees' pockets, they are able to shift their time to better priorities. The cascading effects this can have are impactful; with more time, employees can focus on fulfilling tasks, which in turn helps decrease job burnout. Workers who use AI have a 13% less burnout rate than those who do not use it. Recruiters benefit not only from the use of AI to help make their work more efficient, but the talent they are finding with its use is proving to be higher quality and better suited for long-term success within their companies. infographic by: www.graylink.biz ### Share This Infographic On Your Site
You can also find more infographics at Visualistan
Career Infographics

The Inventions That Shaped Point of Sale Technology Published by Web Desk Friday, March 27, 2026 When we swipe a credit card, we often overlook the incredible power of the technology that makes the transaction possible. A new timeline from Qualtrics is a powerful reminder of the centuries of technological advancement that make today’s secure payment options possible. The timeline highlights key inventions we’ve built upon, including the cash register, invented in 1906 by James Ritty. Ritty invented the register to help secure and track transactions from untrustworthy tellers pocketing change from the till. Computers and plastic have certainly revolutionized security. The first barcode transaction wasn’t completed until 1974 with the purchase of a pack of Wrigley’s gum. American Airlines introduced the first “buy now, pay later” Air Travel Card with American Express, and soon followed with its own credit card. E-commerce has transformed our needs once again, giving rise to QR code payments and “pay by touch” technology. infographic by: www.qualtrics.com ### Share This Infographic On Your Site
You can also find more infographics at Visualistan
Business Infographics

New Graphic Points to Loyalty Programs with Best ROIs Published by Web Desk Monday, March 23, 2026 A decent rewards program can deliver a strong return on investment, keeping customers loyal to brands for years to come. Rewards programs can offer points, cashback, discounts, and free products, often through an app or a physical card. But, naturally, efficient shoppers don’t want to carry around 10 different cards or give their email address away to dozens of businesses that will flood their inbox with spam. Luckily, a new infographic from Qualtrics can help shoppers target the loyalty programs that will give them the best ROIs. At the top of the list, you’ll see many fast food favorites like McDonald’s, Domino’s Pizza, Dunkin’, Burger King, and Wendy’s. Grocery savers can count on Kroger and Safeway/Albertsons to offer the best ROIs. Dick’s Sporting Goods and North Face offer the best programs for athletic shoppers, and you can count on Bath & Body Works, Ulta Beauty, and CVS for beauty and pharmacy needs. infographic by: www.qualtrics.com ### Share This Infographic On Your Site
You can also find more infographics at Visualistan
Business Infographics Marketing

The Words Americans Use to Make Themselves Seem Smarter Published by Web Desk Monday, March 23, 2026 Many people think that a complex vocabulary is a sign of intelligence. Americans have different habits around word use and different perceptions of what words are used and when. Context matters when it comes to the use of complex words, but the words themselves matter too. The team at Preply surveyed Americans on the topic of complex words to find out which words they think sound intelligent, when they use big words, and how they feel when others use them. The team found that these are the words Americans turn to most often when they want to sound smart: * Ambiguous * Articulate * Exacerbate * Aesthetic * Dichotomy * onundrum * Plethora * Ambivalent * Frivolous * Embellish * Mitigate They found that these words are most commonly used at school, work, and home. Over half of Americans think that when people use big words at work, they seem smart, so there’s a good chance your crafty plan to impress will work out if you choose your words carefully. infographic by: preply.com ### Share This Infographic On Your Site
You can also find more infographics at Visualistan
English English Language Infographics Language

I can dump the full reports in a directory and the five people that want that can go find it. Maybe just #infographics. I don't get any kind of #like factor or #repost factor like some people do and they're just kicking out #memes. Not going to do that cuz it's not why I'm here, but I need insight.

But I do have one long, 42 minutes plus long audio about ending homelessness with a sovereign housing endowment in #Colorado. I decided to check out the long long version this time. And two #infographics that I'm going to drop before I go grocery shop. LOL. Looking up electeds. 😹😹😹🏄🏻‍♀️🌊

Study Analyzes Where a Second Language Pays Off the Most in the Job Market Published by Web Desk Thursday, March 12, 2026 The team at Preply presents a study examining how much more bilingual workers earn than their monolingual colleagues. After analyzing thousands of data points, the team discovered that bilingual workers do earn significantly more on average. However, there are strong differences across jobs and industries, as well as by the country where the worker is employed and the second language they speak. The country where bilingual workers earn the most is Spain, where they earn, on average, $15,291 more than monolingual employees. The USA ranks second, followed by Poland and the UK. In Spain, German speakers are the most highly sought after and earn more than speakers of any other second language. In the USA, there’s a high demand for Spanish speakers. Other popular languages include Japanese, Mandarin, French, and Portuguese. The study delves into the many factors that affect a bilingual speaker’s career, but the advantages of language proficiency are clear. infographic by: preply.com ### Share This Infographic On Your Site
You can also find more infographics at Visualistan
Career Infographics

The Products That Transformed Whole Industries Published by Web Desk Tuesday, March 3, 2026 We interact with so many products and services daily that it's easy to overlook their impact on our lives. Qualtrics serves as a reminder with a timeline of the past few decades, highlighting the most important products and technologies that transformed or even birthed new industries. For example, when we focus on media and entertainment, we’re reminded that technology has transformed everything from film to books to music. On the timeline, we find the Sony PlayStation, which re-imagined what video games could be and pushed gaming into a world of high-graphics adventure and detailed role-playing games. Netflix changed the way we watch television, with streaming services growing to dominate cable. The Amazon Kindle made digital books accessible and affordable, and Spotify allowed us to stream an endless library of music. These are just a few of the fascinating items on the timeline! infographic by: www.qualtrics.com ### Share This Infographic On Your Site
You can also find more infographics at Visualistan
History Infographics Technology
