Thank you #Insectember for the prompt list <3
And thank you everyone who interacted with my art, especially the lovely comments :>> It makes me very happy to see others enjoy bugs as much as I do :D <3 (2/2)
#Insectember 23: Bolitotherus cornutus, the forked fungus beetle! Wanted to focus more on showing a bit of how the abdomen/wings/elytra combo works for my beetle-folks, anatomy wise. #insectember2025
#Insectember day 20, and 21-22 as a combo since they're both wasps! The first one is Sphinx ligustri, a type of moth, and the other two are Conura sp. and Brachymeria sp., two wasps. I lost some steam working on the second one :'3 But now I'm caught up finally! #insectember2025
#Insectember 17-19! I'm still playing catch up because my wrist has been sore :'3 Here is the Muslin Moth, the Canopy Mosquito, and the Pleasing Fungus Beetle! Still got two more to do to catch up but I probably won't be getting them done today. #insectember2025
#insectember 15 and 16! Time to play Catch Up :'3 Been moving the last couple days so I'm a couple days behind... I drew Papilio agenor before the move, and then drew Ceratocanthus sp. today after finishing a big commission, and still have 2 more to do tomorrow! Ah! #insectember2025
#Insectember day 14: The Epomis beetle! These beetles are known for preying on frogs! Pretty impressive for a lil bug~ #insectember2025 #bugoc #anthrobug #anthroinsect #kemonomimi
Humanized Dysodius lunatus, a type of assassin bug, dressed in a black, brown, and white maid dress with green trim. Their hair covers their eyes, and they have a smug smile.
Humanized Camarotus germar, a type of weevil, sitting in the shade of some bushes and reading a book. They have a pink and yellow afro, and are wearing a similarly colored shirt, and torn jeans.
#Insectember continues! Days 12 and 13, Dysodius lunatus and Camarotus germar! #insectember2025 #anthroinsect #buganthro
#Insectember day 9: Reduvius personatus, the masked hunter! A type of assassin bug, where the nymph will cover itself in dirt and debris as camouflage. One of their main prey items is termites, so I was imagining them staking out a termite mound~ #insectember2025 #bugoc #insectoc #anthrobug
A humanized fungus beetle walks through a shady forest, investigating some large mushrooms growing on the side of a fallen tree. He is holding a wicker basket full of small mushrooms.
#Insectember day 8: Eumorphus marginatus, the Handsome Fungus Beetle! I wanted to draw a cozy, foraging in the forest sort of scene for this one. #insectember2025 #bugoc #insectoc #anthrobug
A humanized Trithemis aurora dragonfly. She is hovering against a sunset sky, pointing to the right. She has hot pink skin, and cropped, messy orange hair. She is wearing a tank top and running shorts.
#Insectember day 7: Trithemis aurora! A very gorgeous type of dragonfly! I always imagine dragonflies as being more sporty, so I tried to give her that sort of look. And of course, these dragonflies being pink and orange, I had to lean into a specific color scheme 💗🧡🤍 #insectember2025

A humanized leafhopper, leaping over the viewer. The sun is shining just behind their head, and they are framed by large leaves.
#insectember day 6: Paraulacizes thunbergii, a sharpshooter leafhopper! They're gonna be late to bug school!! I wanted to try a different sort of angle than usual for this one :3 #insectember2025 #bugoc #insectoc
A humanized Rosalia batesi beetle. They have blue skin, straight blue hair with straight-cut bangs, tied back in a long ponytail. They are carrying a grocery bag, blowing a bubble with bubblegum, and looking at the viewer somewhat unamusedly.
#insectember day 5! The Rosalia batesi, a species of beetle known for its bright blue coloration and loooong antennae. Felt like drawing more cute clothes today :3 #insectember2025 #bugoc #insectoc
A digital drawing of an anthropomorphized rove beetle on an off-white background. The rove beetle is various shades of dark brows and oranges. The beetle is crouched, with a bow in one hand, a quiver in another, and is inspecting the stem of a crumpled autumn leaf. The rove beetles back is textured with uniform bumps and ridges
Insectember day 8: Micropeplus porcarus
Common name: Rove Beetle✨
