My doctor confirmed with an xray, that I need an MRI. I have insurance. I have been to the hospital, doctor and urgent care. Each of these collected a payment. I have to reach my $750 deductible and then I have to pay copay/coinsurance

1. My doc prescribed an inhaler.
2. Walgreens says there is a problem with insurance.
3. Insurance says I need pre-authorization.
4. Insurance can’t tell me if there is any preferred inhaler that wouldn’t require pre-auth.
5. I guess I’ll wait to breathe.

We went through all the trouble to get an MRI prior authorization. They approved it, but only for a two week window.
The MRI facility booked out 3 weeks.
We called insurance to get the time extended.
They refused, and made us start ALL OVER again with a new prior auth.
