Alright, art buds. My Intuos is acting up-- when I touch the pen to the tablet for a sec, it opens a menu instead of pulling handles, unless I make a large motion. This used to happen with date drivers, but the driver is fine & all the shortcuts I can find are turned off.

Any ideas? #intuos #wacom

I dug out my Wacom intuos for class and forgot how natural it feels to draw with, even though my eyes are on my laptop screen. It makes no sense until I remember the hours spent on sketch.fu and TegakiE as a kid with my old bamboo.

Not a finished sketch (Jim Varney). Tried using a tilt-only 4B. Comes out a bit light but - might try plot in with this next time, then soft charcoal and (compressed dark and lights). Not the greatest likeness but I can live with my timed limited attempts. #art #drawing #intuos #rebelle

Left the rotation enabled pen at home so had to make do with
a standard round // 4b equivalent. Went okay but got carried
away before the pose was fully established (ref: Mels Meynan)

A much bigger brush and stricter time limit (10min max) can get down more general info (pose and proportions) but tends toward more general abstraction - limiting how far you can push the likeness. On the upside, easier to manipulate the pose
