Counting begins this morning in #Irishgeneralelection.
This can take days to check and recheck, as we use a single transferable vote, manually counted.
Now we are in the 21st century, shouldn't we just electronically scan and OCR each voting paper, to give a precise & quick set of results?

4 days out from voting and still no voter cards. Been at this address over a decade, always get them, nothing has changed, checked and we are still registered.
Very strange, we usually have them well in advance
