Did I ever thank you for it? I feel I must have. It was instrumental in helping me settle into my new home. From that account, I followed you, and many others from #IrishTwitter. Eventually, living here started to make sense, one joke at a time. Now it's home.

Feeling sad as I close Twitter down. From getting work writing about beer, to free tickets to shows, to having my photos reposted by bands like The Darkness, to getting invited to a party with Tommy Lee, to just having chats with the #IrishTwitter crowd, I met a lot of fun people.
