Got some more rejections from smaller publishers but I'm atill hoping.
My next step will be to look for an agent. And if push comes to shove ya'll can expect a kickstarter 😅
Self-publishing will be my very last option bc money and time (which I don't have ugh).

Also, chapter 1 of Arc 2 is done! Book two will be called "Arc 2 - The Iron Pillars" and will introduce the Dwarves! 🙂‍↕️

Got the first two rejections from publishers, but I've expected those. I'm really grateful for getting a response though for it's not common for a publisher to get back to you if they reject your application.
Let's see if I'll hear back from anyone 'til February.

Translating your own book is so exhausting and maddening bc you have to go through EVERYTHING again and try to figure out how what you wrote in English makes sense in another language with an entirely different syntax and writing style and I'M BARELY HALFWAY DONE AH

In other news: I am currently in contact with an artist for the cover and promo art for Irrwisch!
The cover will probably be something vintage in a tarot style while the promo art will be inspired by the Final Fantasy franchise.

So instead of finishing that chapter I've spent my time doodling city outlines of the Elven Capitals which are each mirrors of the leaves of the most prominent trees in their respective countries. It's a work in progress tho.
