In the background: The Warlock or Disciple of the Worm stands with his hood down, exposing his phosphorescent deep sea creature face. In the foreground: Just a few of the Warlock's various alter egos from across multiple alternate universes. The Warlock is not a human being. He is a creature of isfet from before the Zep Tepi or Dawn of Time. He is essentially a smaller, human-sized version of the Ungod/isfet serpent, but no less dangerous. He worms his way into multiple realities, infiltrating different societies and poisoning them from within. He delights in tricking entire civilizations into destroying themselves, and human beings are not the only sentient creatures he targets. The Warlock will settle for nothing less than the complete erosion of Ma'at in all civilizations, which will result in the unraveling of reality and the entry of the Ungod into the physical world. ALL of the villains my stories are servants of the Ungod, but most do not realize it. Most would die of shock or horror if they had any idea what they are actually supporting. The Warlock, however, is the one and only villain in my fiction who actually knows EXACTLY what the Ungod is, who serves it WILLINGLY, and who understands EXACTLY what he's doing.
