I don't want to tell you all of my secrets but one way to have a nice view over Guntama is by trying to glitch under objects like rocks/vegetation or ramming into walls and then resetting your car. The result is similar to the 'Swingset of Death' glitch found in #GTA4.

Looking from the south of the train tracks: Parking lot area is unloaded and you can see the blue water beneath the map. Surroundings are also unloaded or have lower detail north of the train tracks.
Looking from the north of the train tracks: Parking lot area is loaded here but streets and other objects south of the train tracks are unloaded.
The line in red shows where the game switches from loading the north to the south of the city and vice versa.
I think dividing the city of Ichikara into two parts was a performance decision. I triggered a glitch that launched me over the city and luckily I took some photos. Here are two screenshots I took. Flying over the north unloads the south and vice versa with the train tracks as a divider 🏙️🚆🏙 #JDMGame

So there's one very particular spot on the map where you can send the camera below the ground, no effort required. Enjoy these lovely out of bounds shots. The underside of the car was more detailed than I expected it would be lol.

(Spoiler alert for #JDMGame) At the end of the game there is a mission where you get to drive the car of one of the bosses for once. The caveat? The castles found in #JDMGame are obviously not the only things inspired by real life Japanese architecture. If you've played the game for more than 60 minutes you should've noticed a very striking and bold blue tower by now.

Photo mode was promised for phase 2 of the post launch roadmap of JDM but got released earlier. It came with today's update. Here are some of my shots. You can really get lost in the options this mode has to offer. Even the cam focus can be tweaked for finest details.

Another interesting file is "PH_Movie_DrivingSchool_Drift_3.mp4". It seems to be some sort of beta footage recorded by one of the developers. The date on the taskbar says 27.06.2024, so the 27th of June, 2024.

From what I've seen some games on Unreal Engine or even other modern game titles let you slip through objects from underneath and collision is only given if you approach an object from the top. It might be funny at first but from a stunting or even realism perspective it gets annoying fast😉 #JDMGame

The Honda Acty is my new favorite car in this game. It's dirt cheap and you can get just about anywhere, even places you're not meant to go. And you can make it look absolutely ridiculous in the process.

One of my favorite things about this game is how many hidden spots there are. Is there a point to them? No. But there doesn't need to be. It's just fun to go exploring.

Managed to get to the train tracks by doing some NOS jumps and to my surprise the tracks have collision and everything and are completely mapped out...well almost. 😅 Watch to the end 👇☺️ The map of this game is truly a work of art! Props to the devs 💯
