Petals and Memories couldn’t have been more different, easily my favourite film of the weekend so far and the only tears shed this time were (a lot of) happy ones. #JFTFP26

Went into the last #JFTFP26 film of today, Petals and Memories, with some trepidation when I learned it was by the same director as Do Unto Others, a fantastic but incredibly depressing film I saw here two years ago.

Back in Derby for the second weekend of the Japan Foundation Touring Film Programme.
Off to a strong start with the first two films, I really liked The Final Piece. #JFTFP26
