'They've' finally turned the centuries old road, back into a road from being a muddy & glorious forest track

So now 'the man' has put traffic signs on this once forest track, that was once a main road, & is still classified as one, & looks like it will be again!
despite the high temp of 11℃ today
most of this track is in the shade & there were still patches of ice...

Looks there are reinstating this forest track as a road.
Headed over there today & they have scraped the top layer, widened it and placed markers along its route.

or in Poland: Święty Hubert z Liège
Hmmm... the patron saint of hunters!

took me along the last part of the old road to Radomsko,
related to a post from last year.
Very wide forest road, paved with small stones,
was 1 of 2 main roads to Radomsko before the D91 was built.
A lovely big shrine too

The shrine is a recent addition to the Kochbunker,
only appearing in 2024 according to Google maps,
these shrines seem to pop-up everywhere

They are very close but for seemingly no reason,
apart from the "Feldstellung" or "Riegelstellung" of 1944/45 that followed the Warta river
