#JacksLibraryTour is my Origin Story of how I got into the Urbanist/City Building Sphere. Helps me better connect with students about the city that surrounds them. Lucky to join students from the Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design at the @utoronto.ca bsky.app/profile/dieg...
9 years ago Jones Branch Oct 22, 2016 • 0 What a wonderful way to end the #JacksLibrary Tour! Jack's father, Lanrick Jr Bennett spoke about transit, community, the importance of spending time with family, and the love for our Toronto Public Library system. Jack's family used Daniel Rotsztain's coloring book " All the Toronto Libraries" as their passport. Checking and stamping each branch along the way. We were very happy to host your last stop of your library tour! READERS

Sitting down with Cam Gordon at Twitter Canada HQ to talk about #JacksLibraryTour Oct 7th, 2016 Made it out to Twitter Canada this morning to talk about #JacksLibraryTour, Toronto Public Library, Daniel Rotsztain and transit above Bloor Street. A very different offering when you don't have subway service, limited streetcar (sans St. Clair) and waiting on packed buses. Shouldn't take 5 hours to travel the length of Jane Street visiting 3 libraries. Will be writing a more in-depth dig into the wants and needs of transit users that live above the belt line. Some great people at #Twitter today. Huge thanks for the opportunity to share. See less

Will be walking with fourth-year Geo & Planning students w/ @uoftdlsph.bsky.social for 'Stories in the Stacks: Active Transportation, Equity, and the Future of Healthy Cities' in 2 weeks ;)

It's only because we've had a little bit of history at this particular branch that I brought it up ;)

Nov 23, 2017 • © Jackson is possibly the most quite and shy when heaps of attention are thrown his way. This morning Eleanor McMahon, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sport, presented Jack with a Certificate of Congratulations for #JacksLibraryTour and his continued advocacy of Libraries in Toronto and
And of course that lovely book inspired #JacksLibraryTour which allowed this memory to pop up on xbook feed #ImLibraryPeople
Yup @tomflood.bsky.social we need to write this book ❤️✊🏾
Oct 22, 2016 Feels like it was only yesterday. A six month trek visiting all 100 #torontolibrary branches. #JacksLibraryTour is still my most epic understanding of how my city works. - I still lovingly remember spending copious amounts of time with my five year old. #ImLibraryPeople
