#JamesDuckett could be executed tomorrow for a crime he says he didn’t commit. The state forced DNA testing at a lab that couldn’t properly analyze the evidence — then admitted the lab his attorneys requested is the only one that can. The execution may move forward anyway.

26/03/2026: James Duckett was granted a stay of execution by the Florida Supreme Court, as he awaits DNA test results. He was originally scheduled to be executed on 30th March by way of lethal injection.

There are currently 2 #DeathRow inmates that I know of who could be #ProvenInnocent by #DNA testing but the #Courts refuse to #Allow the testing in one instance ( #RodneyReed ) and refuse to wait for the #Results in the other ( #JamesDuckett ) . That doesn't look much like #Justice to me.

We will finally be executing former COP #JAMESDUCKETT here in FLORIDA for the rape and murder of an 11 y.o. girl back in the 80s while ON DUTY.It is suspected he killed at least TWO others as well. I am someone who comes from a family with COPS and MURDER victims in it; I am ALL for this execution!!
