Jan Vishwas Bill’s provisions promise big boost to health sector: Ministry​ New Delhi, April 3 (SocialNews.XYZ) The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Friday hailed the Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Bill, 2026, recently passed by both Houses of Parliament, as a significant step to safeguard public health.​ As per the provisions of the Bill, 784 provisions across 79 Central Acts administered by 23 Ministries have been amended.​ Within the health sector, the amendments span key legislations including the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940; the Pharmacy Act, 1948; the Food Safety and Standards Act; the Clinical Establishments (Registration and Regulation) Act, 2010; and the National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions Act, 2021, said a statement.​
