Because of my dad’s band I got to spend some time with Jed during the 80s like at the US Festival and during a KROQ Hawaii trip. He was such a nice guy and I know my dad and he remained friends. If you grew up in LA in the 80s you feel this loss.

Jed was required listening when I was in middle and high school. My awareness and love of specific performers and bands can be traced directly back to listening to them on KROQ. The man was an absolute legend. He will be remembered.
