My new "Midnight Movies" collection in Jellyfin.
Years ago, I received a "horror classics" DVD mega-pack with 50 films. I never got around to playing them, but I recently finished pulling them into my Jellyfin server.
Lots of good stuff I'll be spending time with over the next few months.

Got a 2nd hand Nvidia Shield TV Tube, to replace crappy android box I use for #jellyfin. Read #nvidia will keep supporting it with updates. Should have gotten a normal shield though, had to solder USB to the pc to be able to root (want to mount network storage seamlessly).

9 months in, and I'm not happy with the switch. #Jellyfin works, but the UI is unintuitive, the bugs are annoying, and I have to use the web interface way more than I'd like to. Real bummer.

I've built (with the help of Claude Code) my personal #Netflix on my Debian server: #Jellyfin + Sonarr + Radarr + Prowlarr.
And with #Wireguard I add shows and movies (especially those that are not being streamed) on the go so that everything is nice and ready when I'm coming home in the evening 🔥

Hooked Jellyfin up to my Tailscale instance to allow remote connections to the media library.
It worked marvelously.
The plan is to keep it just on the Tailscale VPN and to NOT worry about exposing it to the larger Internet, given security potential concerns.
