“Jephthah…was a mighty #warrior, but he was the son of a prostitute…” (v1)

So his brothers cast him out. The Ammonites then attacked and #Jephthah was asked to lead. He led #Israel and defeated the Ammonites, but he made a rash #vow that required him to sacrifice his only child. (v2-40)
