Over on Twitter, Dene71 triggered a memory of seeing the NEAREST AND DEAREST stage show in Blackpool. I thought #JoeGladwin had some good physical comedy but this review from THE STAGE for 13 August 1970 also confirms that while my memory wasn't denuded #HyldaBaker and #JimmyJewell were the stars.

I'd rather see a docudrama about NEAREST AND DEAREST with #JasonIsaacs as #JimmyJewell and #JulieWalters as #HyldaBaker .
