‎‘Day of the Dead’ review by Kyle Scharf • Letterboxd 40 years later and Day Of The Dead still packs a punch, both viscerally with the zombie gore, done by the wizard himself Tom Savini, as well as with its critique of the worst of humanity. Nobody ever did it better than the Godfather of zombies himself, George A. Romero. While all three films in the original Dead trilogy are absolute masterpieces, depending on who you ask and ones mood, it could be easily determined which is the best. For me personally, Dawn Of The Dead stands heads and shoulders above not only the other two, but every film ever
