Eyry seems still a little stunned that Josie spoke her name, only slowly snapping out of it to very gently let her hand find the small of Josie's back, afraid she'll crush the woman for how close to her she wishes to be.
Moments earlier, the Ambassador in her red and gold dress uniform has settled next to the exhausted Inquisitor heavily leaning against the balustrade overlooking the gardens.
The anxious but determined Josephine dares a first light touch, her small hand on the kossith's massive back, to ask for the dance she desperately hopes she's read the signs right for.
"I'm afraid we must stay awhile."
"Wouldn't do to leave?"
"There are threats of duels for a dance with the Inquisitor."
"…Oh. A fragile peace."
"But…"
"Yes?"
"Before we return, could I ask for a dance... with Eyry?"
