#JoyfulHousing isn't just affordable, it brings peace to the mind. If a society makes you choose between whether you are going to eat and whether you are going to have a home, there is no home that can be joyful in that society.

Reverse image results are inconclusive, but I believe this was first posted by @wanderingfolk on Instagram. It is a picture bursting with color. Many bright potted flowers line a colorful ceramic walkway with arches leading out to a garden. The walls have bright flowers and leaves painted all over them.

#NYC doesn't have to default to cement, glass, and sharp angles. Colorful environments w/curved forms and vibrant plants are known to help boost mood and contribute to overall happiness. #JoyfulHousing should be modeled w/ the intention of making ppl feel good. Even if only passersby.

It is my belief that #JoyfulHousing is housing that you don't have to worry will be pulled out from under you. Especially, as you get older.

It is my belief that a standard housing expectation should be that the average adult will live by themselves; not with a partner or a roommate. Many of us are on our own and having a private space away from others is important as an adult.
