#Oregon US District #JudgeImmergut, a Trump appointee, has permanently barred the use of #NationalGuard in protest response in the state.
“The President’s determination was simply untethered to the facts,” Immergut wrote.
#JudgeImmergut concluded that the attempt to send troops into #Portland stemmed from EXAGGERATED CLAIMS OF VIOLENCE in the city, where isolated protests were ALREADY EASILY contained by federal and local law enforcement.
