Another popular heroine at #FictionHouse was #SkyGirl, first appearing in #JumboComics #90 in 1946 by #AlexBlum. Described as a 'gallon of trouble in a half pint glass', she was mostly drawn by #MattBaker, one of the great 'good girl artists' of the time.

#FictionHouse's most popular character would be #Sheena,QueenoftheJungle, who first appeared in #Wags in the UK before making her American debut in #JumboComics #1. She would become the first female character to get her own title series in the Spring of 1942.
