Another notable female artist at #FictionHouse was #LilyRenee, who soon became one of its most popular when she helped revitalize the #WerewolfHunters feature in #RangerComics, one of the first regular horror stories and soon the publisher's most popular.
One of the many talented female artists at #FictionHouse was #AnnBrewster, who was so good with female form they put her on their most popular character, #SheenaQueenoftheJungle.
Something notable about #FictionHouse was that it employed numerous female artists, such as #NinaAlbright, #JeanAlipe & #AnneBrewster, which was reflected in it strong female characters.
It would be #ThurmanT.Scott, #JohnGlenister's son-in-law, who took #FictionHouse into comics with #JumboComics #1 on Sept. of 1938. Much of the content was produced by Eisner & Iger Studios, #WillEisner & #JerryIger's legendary comics packaging company.
#FictionHouse was founded on April of 1921 by #JohnW.Glenister, originally publishing pulp magazines like #ActionStories & #AirStories, which featured works by #RaymondBradbury, #PhillipK.Deck & #GardnerFox.
