24. Forest vibes
The Bearded Brush has no vibe, merely an artificial grove of trees given life by time. Sintadil is known as Bewilder Woods for its fae influence, which grants it an otherworldly, misleading vibe of false serenity, as if its watching you.
...and it is.
#JulyWorldbuilders prompt list. Day 14: Weather where your MC is currently.
#JuneWorldbuilders day 14.
Kalua is my MC this time around. Holom is generally temperate, but the capital is a little higher in elevation. it's about a week or 2 from the new year, which would be our April 1. It's spring time: Still chilly, but slowly getting warmer.

#JuneWorldbuilders
9: The founding myths of both the Nentonian Republic and the Esperetian Empire state that the sun was the breath of life provided by Yrra, suspended in the sky and providing the opportunity for life to grow (the Nentonian's understand this figuratively while the Esperetians take..

5. Squads, formations, tactics
The Tsentrin City guard assign sixteen soldiers to each sergeant to create five squadrons. Those are then sent out to the five major districts of the city for patrol duty.
The sergeants sometimes draw straws for who gets The Duct.

Day 30
I'm a pantser, so it's all in my head...but I rough out settings/situations first as I write, then go back and spiff things up when I edit. 😁

Day 29
Better, now that I'm making headway on getting my 'Story Notes' doc for volume 4 organized...
It's only about 100 pages. 🙃

Day 30
#CosmicEgg
I pre-plan a lot of my world building before I write. But it's impossible to plan out every single detail ahead of time. Some of it comes during writing.
Dear all!
The series that I wrote about in last months #WIPSnips and in #JuneWorldbuilders is now done and part of the Smashwords Sale this month!
You wanna check it out?

#JuneWorldbuilders 30: was your worldbuilding pre-planned or do you build as you write?
It's a blend of both, but I think pre-planned sits at a higher likelihood. When I plan things out, it's usually with my fiancé's input.

Day 30 #JuneWorldbuilders
Both? I pre-plan some stuff, just so I can get to work, but sometimes things develop while I write, and some of those developments turn out to be my favorite bits of worldbuilding.
#JuneWorldbuilders
30. Pre-planned or pantsed?
Pre-planned. When I write, I like to do so without pause, letting the words flow without stopping to breathe.
When my world is pre-planned, this is so much easier, as I dont have to stop every ten minutes to ask myself if what I wrote fits into it.
Pre-planned or build as you go?
#JuneWorldbuilders
Pre-planned or build as you go?
Sometimes I feel like I'm laying down the planks just as I step on them.
And then there are things in my head that I can't wait to get to.
As with everything, I'm a mix.
@kiraofthewind.com
I created the country to the east first (still haven’t written anything set there). Some of the elements of my world were in place before writing, but not all.
#JuneWorldbuilders day 30
#JuneWorldBuilders day 30
My worldbuilding is mostly planned.
I didn't draw my map until I created the cosmology, but before Tragic Vampires and gothic love stories were themes like anti-imperialism and neutral gods.
A lot of it is spontaneous, but the majority isn't.

#JuneWorldbuilders Day 30
I go from both sides. Sometimes a scene is better if you give flex and build out the world from that moment, but other scenes are served by having the background structure already there. I keep my world building simple and let it enrich itself through the characters/events.
JuneWorldbuilders 30: Was your worldbuilding pre-planned or do you build as you write?
#JuneWorldbuilders
I created my world's pantheon on gods a long time ago, but I only mention a few of them. Other than some very general geography and economics, everything else has been build around the characters and the plot that they create as I go.
Day 30. Was your world building more planned or do you build as you write?
Half in half.

#JuneWorldBuilders 30
I always pre-plan my worlds, though they take time to develop, like food in the oven, it needs time.
I'm a paracosmist, I've been creating worlds since childhood ever since I read Narnia, Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland, LOTR, etc. I love escapism.
#JuneWorldbuilders #WritingCommunity Day 30
A little of both, honestly. I had a general idea of how I wanted Nixtral to be when I first started.
Once I started developing the southern continent, though, things kinda snowballed, so now I develop nations & other stuff as I go.
Day 30: #JuneWorldbuilders
It's a mixture of both. Often I have the broadstrokes built before I start writing. Things like society, culture, the economy, alliances, etc. Smaller things, like waste sanitation will come up asI write and I start questioning what certain cities look-
@kiraofthewind.com
30 It's a little of both. The Astrani Empire's connection to ancient Rome was established before I started. The Nexus was added later. I like to have a good foundation of ideas that are immutable that allows for improvisation. #WritingCommunity #JuneWorldBuilders
#JuneWorldbuilders Day 30
I do some pre-planning for key elements but then a lot of it I figure out as I write and create a "bible" so I make sure I don't contradict myself later.
June Worldbuilders prompt list 30, Was your worldbuilding pre-planned or do you build as you write?
#JuneWorldbuilders 30
Most of my worldbuilding is pre-planned from years of roleplaying in it, but I always do a bit of building as I go. A cultural tidbit here, a specific food item there. Everything goes into a large folder divided by continent and country. And soon it'll expand to worlds! 😊
#JuneWorldbuilders day 30 was your worldbuilding planned or built on the fly as you write?
#JuneWorldbuilders
I am typically a pantser, but I do spend a lot of time thinking about my world between writing sessions.
If I see an issue coming up, I'll sit down and work it put before I continue.
But recently, I've been planning a lot more.
These games help!
Thanks, @kiraofthewind.com!!
#JuneWorldbuilders
I’ve been developing the Ravel in some form for most of my life now. I’m still finding new things about it all the time of course but at this point there’s a very firm foundation for me to rely on. I’m excited to be writing Nobody’s Servant, but there’s lots more to show too!
#JuneWorldbuilders - Planning
It's a process where I begin a story, fill in some scant details around it, then it reaches a critical point where I need to explore the world around it. I world build for a long time, getting tons of details. After that, the two are symbiotic, inspiring each other.
#JuneWorldbuilders
30: Was your worldbuilding pre-planned or do you build as you write?
Both, kinda. Most of my stories simmer on my brain for quite some time before being written, so things get planned along the way. But I always forget stuff and have to build as I go too.
30. My worldbuilding is bother planned and it is built up as I write.

#JuneWorldbuilders day 30:
I had a rough idea, but it came together more as I wrote. I forget where in the process the map came in, but it was first draft, which was an entirely different story. A lot has fleshed out in thousands of pages
