It started in the chest
before it lived in the hand
Some pressure with no name
Some static, some demand
Fingers hitting keys
the way a storm hits open ground
Not building toward a meaning
just chasing after sound

Screens within screens
On top of screens
Next to screens
Picture in picture in picture
Yet, for each passing day
We become less informed
Meta-confused
And go ever more out of touch
With what really matters

Now I lay me down 2 sleep
hold me tight so I won't weep
the darkness takes the light away
I need to know that you will stay
I sometimes try and try so hard
even my soul is battered and scarred
but in your arms
the dark won't win
and I can rest
and the healing begin

No body
Escapee

Can't any more
All I am is sore

I say "this too shall not pass"

And I'll find my way at last
