The epitome of #JustAskDontGrab.
I mean which part of 'there's another dog here your dog may be distracted by' and you telling your dog "leave it" not just once, but twice having used your tactile sense to try and identify further distractors.
Not enough FFS.

You're not entitled to touch disabled people or their mobility aids.
If you think someone needs assistance ask.
It is absolutely not acceptable to pet & distract a working assistance (service) dog. There are probably signs all over the dog explaining it. You have no excuse. /7

I already had a member of staff talking to me.
If you offer, listen to the response & respect a no.
Never grab, push or touch without permission.
Help should be helpful & consensual #JustAskDontGrab
For me, with my faulty nervous system: TOUCH HURTS! Do not ever touch me. I only trust 1 person to know how to touch/hug me without causing pain. So I delegate hugs to Matt who can then pass them onto me safely.

Next at a busy train station another person spoke up, asked if I would like to board the lift first & stopped a group of tourists rushing & blocking me.
Offers of assistance like this are so valuable especially when people respect my consent & listen to what I need. #JustAskDontGrab
It's a HUGE problem for disabled folks. Blind activist Dr Amy Kavanagh (@ BlondeHistorian on twitter) started a whole hashtag campaign #JustAskDontGrab
