Agree these could be complementary. As one example, I think the principle of #Justice40 might manage the polycentric tension better if the broader scale was municipal instead of census tract, and focused more on restorative/unverinvestment instead of aggregated/biased env & other burden metrics

I think there are still good reasons to use the #Justice40 initiative (e.g., restorative justice and redressing chronic underinvestment at community scales).

a very small plum tree- only a few branches, it is one year old and lanky.
a large plum tree- the same tree, 5 years later. it is about 8 feet tall and highly branched with a thick trunk.
it's tough because the lot is surrounded by asphalt, concrete, strip mall areas- roads. there's a superfund site in my tract too. I keep looking to see if #justice40 has any habitat-restoring or growing native plant funding I can tap into, but it's frustrating to find it as just a regular person.
