Sex Worker Pride extends to all marginalised by criminalisation, discrimination and stigma across the sex workers movement and celebrates the diversity within our community during International Sex Worker Pride.

‣ Why does Sex Workers Pride Day exist?
Because for too long, sex workers have faced:

❌ Stigma and discrimination
❌ Violence and criminalization
❌ Exclusion from decisions about our lives

This day exists to affirm: Sex Work Is Work

Sex workers are protected by the Constitution.

Discriminatory bylaws = harassment, denial of healthcare, abuse.

Decrim saves lives.

Constitutional Rights

The Constitution of Kenya (2010) guarantees
• Right to Equality and Freedom from
	Discrimination (Art. 27)
•	Right to Dignity (Art. 28)
•	Right to Privacy (Art. 31)
•	Right to Health (Art. 43)
• Freedom of Association and Assembly (Art, 36 and 37)

These rights belong to ALL Kenyans, including sex workers.

🇰🇪 #Kenya ⚖️ #Legal

Brief 👥 #KESWA notes on the effects of discriminatory bylaws on sex workers — and how such usage is arguably unconstitutional.
