Nearly 40 minutes into 1hr 53 minutes of this movie and I'm already liking it very much. The overall vibe, the classical music, the chemistry between the leads.

The opening scene of Pavane with sweet mom and slippery eel dad was great. The bit of dad in his smaller than small room reminded me instantly of Tony Leung's great performance in Days of Being wild. Obviously a nod to his character. 1/2
