Fighters used a possible Ruger Precision Rifle M-18080 / M-18028 (or similar bolt-action rifle) during the attacks.
Over 300 residents of Wawlay Myaing, located 44 miles (70 km) south of Myawaddy, have fled into Thailand since July 3 following fighting.

訪問した後、彼はわざわざ河畔まで見送りに来てくれたのよ。
ボートが川岸を離れてずいぶん経っても、肉眼でその姿が確認できなくなるまで、
彼は、ずっとずっと手を振ってくれていたのよ。。
知り合って25年が過ぎた。
今も昔も、彼の律儀さはほんに変わらない。
いえね、この間、お互いいろいろあったけど、いつも取材者ではくチングとして
出迎えてくれるし。
不器用に笑うその仕草･･･それも変わらない。

On February 17, 2025, three men forcibly conscripted into the Myanmar Junta surrendered to KNLA forces in Lawksawk Township, Shan State, Myanmar. The deserters handed over two MA-3 rifles, one MA-1 rifle, 11 bullets, 776 rounds of ammunition, and one grenade.
