#Kanopy Happy Together, 1997. Incoherent mess of unpleasant characters & pretentious storytelling; writing & performances as if no gay people were involved. Christopher Doyle’s cinematography is messy, aiming for subjectivity, but creates fine effects later in the film. The last 1/3rd is the best.

#Kanopy Lesbian Space Princess, 2025. Gloriously unashamed queer action sci-fi animation from South Australia, bursting with joy and colour. Sadly the effect is diminished by a lack of variety across the 87 minutes; it would have been better even only 15mins shorter.
