Is anybody a fan of the modern art light installation of chaos (aka a scribble) that obscures the ceiling of the #Karlskirche in #Vienna? This picture also intentionally crops out the blow up octopus in the pond (perhaps also art??) and the Henry Moore sculpture.
It is night. In the foreground there is an artificial pond in which a large inflatable, blue-lit plastic octopus is resting, so big that people can fit underneath it. Behind it there is a white church with two large, free-standing columns in front of it. Everything is reflected in the water. ©Aw

Die Karlskirche, ab oberhalb der Stiege zum Eingang und der linke Turm, die grüne Kuppel.
Apropos Karlskirche, der rechte Turm ist seit geraumer Zeit leider eingerüstet, daher habe ich ihn beim Bildausschnitt nicht berücksichtigt.
Im Sommer finde hier auch sehr viele Festivals statt.
2025 mein erster Sommer als Nicht-Tourist.
