What I loved most about this book was how it kept me questioning everything, the truth got darker and more twisted. The pacing is a slow burn, but that only added to the suspense as secrets and lies slowly unraveled. The characters, especially Jen, felt so real and complex; The small-town atmosphere is eerie and suffocating, and Braithwaite’s writing gave me chills.
