Afternoon everyone. Following Mrs Hโs 6 mile morning walk and my Friday workout at the gym we visited #KedlestonHall near Derby. We been a few times over the years but it was pleasant to have a wander and a pleasant picnic lunch.
A two day one night break, Hardwick Hall, Bolsover Castle and Kedleston Hall all have their own grandure from times past. Back to work today and no more weekends off until July ๐ญ

As Mouse has been on a kind of two centre holiday scamper this week it makes sense to have a #MouseFavouritePhoto from #KedlestonHall. There was only one choice, despite the glorious decoration of every part of the hall. Mouse only too pleased to recommend a visit #Derbyshire
Let's face it. There's only one way to finish a day's historical skittering #KedlestonHall #Derbyshire
It would of course be provocative of Mouse to suggest jam or cream on first, but let's just say Mouse prefer the correct way as nature intended
A last look at the Marble Hall. Au revoir #KedlestonHall in the wonderful county of #Derbyshire. Mouse be back soon

Even common or garden gate posts have heraldic bearing #KedlestonHall #Derbyshire #Thursgate #IronworkThursday
Mouse put this out there right up front, this delicately curved door is as close to perfection as doors can get #KedlestonHall #Derbyshire

If you're playing the Neo-Classical game there is one reference you absolutely positively have to draw on. This is why Mouse thinks the Salon is the most wonderful of the rooms in the Hall

A daily glimpse of the interiors of the wonderful #KedlestonHall #Derbyshire. The Blue Bedroom.
The state bed built in anticipation of a Royal visit. Sadly it's silks never felt the tender caress of a royal buttock. Madness, Mouse tell you. Madness! (bit of a clue there)
