Alternate version of Yuyu Hakusho - Movie 2 : The legend of the shadow kingdom in which the reikai (spirit world) is struck by a mysterious catastrophe triggered by warriors who have escaped from the Meikai (shadow realm). Koemma, the guardian of the afterlife, entrusts Botan with a mission of the utmost importance, giving her a sphere containing the energy of the reikai. Unfortunately, those responsible for the catastrophe follow Botan to retrieve the sphere she has taken and seriously injure her. Nevertheless, she finds the strength to seek help from Yusuke and his friends, who manage to heal her quickly. At the same time, they rescue another spirit world guide, Hinageshi, who explains who their enemies are. Led by Yakumo, they arrive and kidnap Botan and Keiko to use them as hostages. Yusuke, Kuwabara, Kurama, and Hiei set out to free Botan and Keiko in order to save the afterlife and the ningenkai (world of the living), but the road to get there is guarded by formidable soldiers. Meanwhile, Botan and Keiko are being held captive in a temple that serves as a sanctuary for lost travelers. The two girls have been securely tied/gagged, and unfortunately, their high school uniforms reveal their panties, making them vulnerable prey for sexual predators which makes Keiko cry with anxiety, knowing the horror of being the victim of such a traumatic situation, while Botan is offended that anyone could contemplate her clearly visible panties.

Reverse-Shizuru is the younger sibling, is as hot-headed but a little smarter than Kuwabara and is treated as the leader of delinquents (mostly because they respect her, but also because Reverse-Keiko wouldn't want followers...well, following her.) Reverse-Yukina is the older sibling, born in a tribe of fire demons who throw her away for being misogynists (since Hiei was thrown away by misandrists), and wields the Dragon of the Frostbit Flame! Reverse-Keiko has a lush dad and an absent mom, makes fun of Yusuke by treating him like a simp, and is trained by Reverse-Toguro. She also likes to use the Spirit Gun with her middle finger. Reverse-Botan was originally Nibi Botan, the twin-tailed cat demon. Her human name is Yui Minamino, masks her serious side with humor, and her signature flower is the peony (since that what 'Botan' means).
