This is a picture of all of the rosebuds that I harvested from my back yard on the Kenai River in Kenai, Alaska. Each rose hip is a beautiful hue of red. They have sharp little “hairs” on one end of the hip. So the way I eat the sweet “paste” inside is to just squeeze the “paste out the other end. Rose hips can be made into sauces like catsup and barbecue sauce. Lots of natural vitamin C! Thanks for reading, Diane
