A night scene, divided in two, horizontally. On top, a modern glass-and-steel building with a distinctive sweeping roof (Reading railway station, Grimshaw architects). Its shape is almost mirrored below by a colourful, extra-large illuminated mural. There are steps to the right of the artwork and an entrance to a pedestrian underpass at its centre. "Rivers, Ruins & Regency" [2024] by Kev Mundy, in collaboration with sculptor Stuart Melrose, is a 51-metre long piece of art, full of references to the people and landmarks of the town. Station Hill, Reading, Berkshire, UK. Photo by Gearóid Burke.
