The view from one train platform to another, centred on a small yellow-stone railway building with two sets of panelled windows and two bright yellow doors. A young woman perches on the back of a wooden bench, with her feet and her CoOp-branded bag on the seat. She looks to her right for an eastbound train. This station was built in 1850 to the most elaborate of the standard designs used by Isambard Kingdom Brunel, resembling a lodge or estate house of the period, but in local Bath stone, rather than the more commonly used bricks and mortar.
