Working on the post-con report and compiling all the lovely letters we received. <3 I am having so many emotions! Being able to chair #KiScon this year - while knowing what lay ahead in real life - meant a lot to me.
(I am slow, apologies! Doing my best to send it out to attendees this week.)
Digital drawing: The background is space, with stars and two planets, one yellow and one blue. There are three pairs of Spocks and Jim Kirks depicted. On the bottom, Spock and Jim from the original series are looking at each other softly. Spock has his hand on Jim's face, performing a meld. Jim has his eyes open, and he is softly looking at Spock. In the middle, Jim and Spock from the 2009 movies (AOS) are looking to the left, looking happy and determined, their faces illuminated by a soft glow surrounding them. Finally, on the top right, Jim and Spock from Strange New Worlds looking to the right, not as intimate as the other two, but looking amused.
"Celestial Bodies and Universal Constants", my contribution to this year's KiSCon Zine. This was featured on the cover, and it was such an honor to be a part of it! ✨ #Spirk #StarTrekFanart #KiSCon

I just read a fic by Cate Adams (post #KiScon) that made me just sigh with all the love. It was a good way of ignoring the current dumpster fire of American life... It's called Release, and it's on AO3. archiveofourown.org/works/60419233
Was sort of away from here most of the weekend because I was attending #KiScon (tagging in case anyone else is on here) virtually. To be in the presence of fandom forebears was quite the experience. I love fandom history, especially Star Trek fandom history.
