#Kijin 9 was...clunky this ep. The action in the inugami fight lacked impact & while the conclusion to the mystery works, the way it was tied to both the Informant Lady and timeskip scene felt tenuous. Maybe I find the transition abrupt though it was foreshadowed in the premiere.

Really quite impressed with where this show went this week. How the case wrapped up was fine enough but I did note Jinya didn't have to resort to wielding his sword this time around and I admired that restraint. The real kicker though is how the reveal served characters we already knew!
