#HRC61 | #KingdomNL, on behalf of the BENELUX, raised Russia’s attempt to structurally dismantle Ukrainian systems of governance, administration, judiciary, law enforcement and education, imposing its own systems. We urge again: Russia’s war of aggression must end.
At #HRC61 Urgent Debate, #KingdomNL raised concerns about the ongoing escalation in the Middle East and condemned Iran’s unprovoked attacks targeting civilians and vital energy infrastructure across the region. We urge Iran to end violence and repression against its own people.

As Council member, this session Team #KingdomNL promotes Freedom of Religion, protects Human Rights Defenders, focuses on the human rights situation in Ukraine, Belarus, Myanmar and DPRK, and leads initiatives on Freedom of Expression and Syria.
Today #KingdomNL expressed its deep dismay over the findings of the Fact-Finding Mission report on El Fasher, Sudan.
To push for protection of civilians the Sudan Core Group 🇬🇧🇩🇪🇳🇴🇮🇪🇳🇱 announced the Coalition for Atrocity Prevention and Justice on #Sudan.
