i know most of fandom doesn't see elidibus actually as a god, but if we accept hydaelyn as one... it follows. anyway... i digress. it's a horror story inside a love story, the thing that exists between him and kit, and it's a thing terrifying in a way she doesn't fully understand yet. and he likes it that way. in some ways, she does too, because she's not stupid. she just chooses what to question sometimes. i love gabbing about it but never really know where to start or what's even interesting, but just know that even when she gets him back, even when they are cute and sweet and living the dumb young kids love story fate tried to deny them... there's a harrowing undertone to being so loved by a primal, a god, that her very visage was enshrined in his form. one who will kill her just to bring her back from the brink to finish inside her and keep escalating the thrill of being together. and well, he lost her once... with the power of a god, he isn't going to do so again. she just doesn't know it yet.
