This little guy is a Kitan Club Sleeping Baby Dragon gachapon toy, one I pulled from a machine in Sydney's Westfield Centrepoint. He was so cute I went back several times to get the rest

A Gachapon of a white and brown cat with arms crossed and wearing cat paw-shaped boots, apron, black shirt and sweat band, standing akimbo. It has been placed an the brochure that comes in the capsule next to its representative picture. The background of the brochure is a fiery orange and there is black and white Japanese writing. The products have been placed on a white table top.

A screen capture of Google Lens which has translated a photo of the reverse of the gachapon cat on top of its brochure. There is writing that was on the back of the black shirt it is wearing and it says "original fumi fumi noodles" and underneath that, "Mao Mao Xuan". This is also what was written on the brochure.

The brochure that came with the gachapon has been folded out in full to reveal. There are five variants available. From left to right the cat colours are a white cat with red clothing, then a grey cat with blue and yellow clothing. Then the cat that I received which is white and brown wearing white and black clothing. The fourth cat is a ginger striped cat with white, blue and black clothing and the final cat is black with pink ears wearing black and white clothing. There is Japanese writing next to each cat's picture and a large group of japanese characters on the front page of the brochure. The background of the brochure features orange flames and the writing is in black edged in white.

On the bus level of Uptown mall there is a Gachapon centre! They are all 1 token, which you buy for $5.10. Disappointed there seems to be no capsule return place. So... I got this one today. #cat #gachapon #catgachapon #kitanclub They seem to be noodle mascots.

The toy is a snowdome approx 6cm diameter, with a cat modelled pawing at a litter tray. The litter tray is brown with a white lumpy bottom. The snowflakes are white plastic chips. The cat is grey all over with no stripes or spots. The toy and leaflet are placed on a red waffled silicone mat on a glass table outdoors and there is a portion of a concrete cat statue in the background.

Extreme close-up with the litter tray taking up two thirds of the shot. The camera angles downwards so you glimpse the inside of the tray. The cat is partially shown and it's in the top right quadrant. Detail on the flooring of the dome reveals it as floorboards. There are snowflakes in and around the litter tray. Fine bubbles cling to every surface. The cat has painted closed eyes and a triangular nose. It's quite a sweet depiction.
