On Tuesdays, I usually use the #KnowYourTools tag to post about interesting topics like CLI dev tools, useful commands, and more.

However, I've noticed these posts receive less attention. In contrast, my Friday posts about Python are much more successful.

Tried fd, a friendly drop-in for find. It’s fast, respects .gitignore, and has sane defaults.

If you still don't know about `gping`, I recommend you to try. This is a very similar tool to `ping`. However, it gives you a chart with ping values inside the terminal. Isn't that beautiful?

Tried WezTerm? It's my favorite terminal emulator. It supports persistent SSH sessions—just add a server in the config and connect using `wezterm connect myserver`. It restores connections even if your laptop sleeps or Wi-Fi drops.

I've used Stage Manager on macOS, but it's not super efficient. Recently, I tried Aerospace, an i3-like window manager for macOS, and it's incredible! I can switch spaces quickly with shortcuts. Highly recommend checking it out!

What's Glow? It's a CLI tool. As you can see I love TUI, CLI, and anything cool in the terminal. What does Glow do? It renders Markdown files inside your terminal. You can preview Markdown files without leaving your terminal.

#KnowYourTools is back! Check out Starship, a fast terminal prompt. Add Git metrics to your prompt by including the module [git_metrics] and setting disabled = false. Now see added or deleted lines in a Git repo. Cool, right?

Recently, in a #knowyourtools post, I wrote about the TUI Git client: lazygit. It's an awesome tool, and I recommend giving it a try. Especially don't ignore the recommendation if you love Vim.

Today, I'm going to show you another tool: lazydocker! I think you can guess what it is. #TUI is awesome!

Any tech-related person knows that there are usually two types of tools: GUI and CLI.

However, did you know that there is usually another option - TUI? TUI is like GUI but inside the terminal.

I'm a NeoVim user. If you're unfamiliar, here's the cool part: you can have ICONs in a terminal editor! Just install a Nerd font and configure with the nvim-web-devicons plugin. Awesome, right?
