I just released a new #komments release, which tries to reduce comment spam by LLMs (and others) using verification. If you like, you can now enable this feature. Users then have to verify their comments by email. Unverified will eventually be marked as spam or be deleted after 48h. After
Small update for the #getkirby #komments plugin. You can now define phrases and keywords that, when found in the comment text, will increase the spam score. Hopefully this will help you a bit more with those annoying (AI) spammers. Included in Release 3.6.0

But I still cannot release it, because I don't know when to trigger the data migration. It can be a long(er) lasting task, depending on the amount of comments. And you have to decide which storage type to use, before the migration is running.

I have big major release of the #kirby #komments plugin running on my site. It's huge update with a lot of breaking changes, a new data format etc. It's a big shift towards all the new possibilities of kirby which weren't there, when I started buidling the plugin.
