Each #kyuusaiger has a ‘虫装,’ or ‘Bug Arms,’ a kind of ‘weapon-meets-mentor-robot-sidearm.’ I imagine each has a distinct personality (likely ornery, and at odds with their Ranger counterparts).

The #kyuusaiger emblem, like the team, draws from two worlds: insects & industrial design. Here, the stacked, ‘bug’ (head/thorax/abdomen) meets the Japanese traffic signal (which uses blue, not green).
I imagine this badge is used as both comm, and summons/key device for mecha.

Here’s my original model sheet.
Taking inspiration from the reflective ribbons oft seen on service/rescue uniforms, the #kyuusaiger suit plays w./this motif along the bicep, quads, and in the boot and glove cuffs. Steel toes were added to mirror the hand/maximize battle value.

Q: WHY PARODY A LEAK?
A: Anticipating Sentai reveals feels part of the holidays. It’s fun seeing the formula play out YoY: trademark, rumor, scans, etc. I just wanted to honor the tradition. I also see this as a kind of spiritual sequel to last year’s Deka reveal. #kyuusaiger
