The cover of the LEGO Train Ideas Book (7777). It features the iconic yellow-red Passenger Train (7740), the steam locomotive of the Goods Train (7730) towing passenger coaches and a draisine at a custom built train station with two tracks that are connected via a passenger bridge.

I've once started to create a 3D version of the cover of the famous #LEGO Trains Ideas Book (7777). I've used #LDCad for modeling, #LDrawImport to import it into #Blender and #fSpy for perspective matching. It's still WIP and probably will be forever given […]

A 3D rendering of the dumper of LEGO set 387. It’s built out of simple bricks in yellow and red and has a pivot steering.

A rendered image of the excavator of the LEGO set 387.

The excavator is built of simple bricks with a yellow upper and a red lower half. It is equipped with a yellow front and back bucket (each attached to a red arm) and runs on black caterpillar tracks.

The arm of the front bucket shows a rendering defect: a black triangle.
